"I waited six months after the installation of my EZ Breathe system before writing this letter. Why the long wait? Simple, I wanted to experience the EZ Breathe system in multiple seasons before making judgment. Now I can concretely say that everyone should get Vulcan to install an EZ Breathe system in their basements. The basement is now a comfortable, quiet place, just like the rest of my house.

Previously, I had two 70 pint dehumidifiers plus a HEPA air cleaner running in the basement all year long. I can’t imagine the amount of electricity these units were using. Even though I cannot quantify the amount of money this unit is saving (my electric bill fluctuates yearly depending on the outside temperature), I can say that my electric bill would be higher if I was still running the two dehumidifiers. Additionally, I can barely hear the EZ Breathe system running. Compare this with the dehumidifiers that needed to be temporarily turned off, whenever a conversation needed to be had in the same room. I never have to remember to turn it back on since it runs by itself quietly in the background.

In addition to the EZ Breathe system, I would like to praise the determination and professionalism of the installer (Mike). Due to the configuration of my basement, installation location options were limited. There were pipes or other obstructions that prevent the installation at specific spots. Fortunately, Mike was able to find a location and quickly install the EZ Breathe unit INSIDE the wall. Once I have sheetrock installed over the unit, you will barely be able to tell the unit is there, with the exception of the base unit on the floor.

My only regret is not knowing about the system and your expert team earlier. It would have saved me a significant amount of money not having had to purchase the dehumidifiers. Please extend my thanks to Mike and the rest of the Vulcan Team for a job well done!
