Correct cellar air flow is critical to the wellness, security, and also convenience of a residence or company. Inappropriate air flow could cause:

  • Indoor air pollution
  • Asthma and allergic reactions
  • Mold and mildew and also mold growth
  • High humidity levels
  • Frustrations
  • Nasal Inflammation
  • Respiratory system Issues

The air we take a breath indoor can be polluted by a variety of things. Amongst them are:

Airborne microorganisms and viruses which could cause numerous disorders and infections. Bacteria and also viruses remain to reproduce and grow in moist, wet and also stale environments.

Poisonous Chemicals that become vapors from paint, home cleaners and also solvents, glues and also adhesives located in any kind of variety of things in the house or organisation, aerosols, paint, pesticides, and also chemicals used in some carpeting and also upholstery textiles.

Irritants consisting of pet dander, allergen, and plant pollen.

It’s the water you cannot see that could destroy your foundation! Pitch or tar used to water resistant exterior walls at the time of initial building and construction usually degrade in as low as 3 to 5 years leaving the walls unprotected versus the significant hydrostatic pressure of a high water table, underground streams or capillaries.

An extra of water around grounds may weaken them causing destructive settlement of the foundation.

Imagine exactly what will certainly take place to a block of sand in a swimming pool of water. The disintegration of concrete takes place the same means, over time with the foundation gradually softening, then weakening up until it provides means, bringing water right into the cellar or worse.

This was the second visit by Vulcan – the service technicians were very professional and did an amazing job – reviewed the project with me and explained what they were going to do and why they needed to do it – then they started right in and did the work. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone looking to get a water issue resolved in their basement.

Great service, very knowledgable staff and hard working crew! Install went well: 160 linear feet of underdrain pipe and crushed stone with 2 sump pits (one pit with 1 pump and the other upper pit with 2 pumps). Pumps run fine when needed. We now have a dry finished basement with peace of mind. Thanks Vulcan, great job!

Our basement flooded several times and had water level of up to 4 feet in one corner of the house. Vulcan assessed the situation and added french drains and new sump pump. They were very professional and not too costly. We haven’t had any issues since, this was in early 2000s.
