Correct cellar air flow is essential to the wellness, security, and comfort of a residence or organisation. Inappropriate air flow could create:

  • Indoor air pollution
  • Bronchial asthma and allergies
  • Mold and mildew and also mildew development
  • High moisture levels
  • Headaches
  • Nasal Inflammation
  • Respiratory system Troubles

The air we breathe indoor can be polluted by a variety of things. Among them are:

Airborne bacteria as well as infections which can trigger several conditions and also infections. Microorganisms and viruses continue to reproduce and also flourish in damp, moist and also stale atmospheres.

Hazardous Chemicals that become vapors from paint, home cleaners and solvents, adhesives as well as adhesives found in any kind of variety of items in the residence or service, aerosols, paint, chemicals, and also chemicals used in some carpeting as well as furniture textiles.

Allergens including pet dander, allergen, as well as plant pollen.

It’s the water you can not see that can ruin your structure! Pitch or tar utilized to water resistant outside wall surfaces at the time of initial construction commonly wear away in as low as 3 to 5 years leaving the wall surfaces unprotected against the incredible hydrostatic stress of a high water table, underground streams or capillaries.

An extra of water around grounds may undermine them triggering destructive negotiation of the foundation.

Concrete is made mostly of sand. Visualize just what will certainly take place to a block of sand in a swimming pool of water. The erosion of concrete happens the same way, in time with the foundation slowly softening, then damaging till it paves the way, bringing water into the cellar or even worse. This erosion could happen in block foundations even much faster because they are typically hollow to begin with.

This was the second visit by Vulcan – the service technicians were very professional and did an amazing job – reviewed the project with me and explained what they were going to do and why they needed to do it – then they started right in and did the work. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone looking to get a water issue resolved in their basement.

Great service, very knowledgable staff and hard working crew! Install went well: 160 linear feet of underdrain pipe and crushed stone with 2 sump pits (one pit with 1 pump and the other upper pit with 2 pumps). Pumps run fine when needed. We now have a dry finished basement with peace of mind. Thanks Vulcan, great job!

Our basement flooded several times and had water level of up to 4 feet in one corner of the house. Vulcan assessed the situation and added french drains and new sump pump. They were very professional and not too costly. We haven’t had any issues since, this was in early 2000s.
