Appropriate cellar ventilation is vital to the health, security, and also comfort of a residence or business. Improper air flow can cause:

  • Indoor air contamination
  • Bronchial asthma and allergies
  • Mold and mildew as well as mold development
  • High moisture levels
  • Headaches
  • Nasal Irritability
  • Respiratory system Troubles

The air we take a breath indoor can be infected by a variety of points. Amongst them are:

Airborne germs and viruses which can cause numerous conditions and infections. Microorganisms and also viruses continue to breed as well as grow in damp, damp as well as stagnant atmospheres.

Hazardous Chemicals that become vapors from paint, household cleaners and solvents, glues and adhesives located in any kind of variety of products in the home or business, aerosols, paint, pesticides, as well as chemicals utilized in some carpets and also furniture fabrics.

Irritants including family pet dander, allergen, and pollen.

It’s the water you can not see that could destroy your structure! Pitch or tar utilized to water resistant exterior walls at the time of initial building often deteriorate in just 3 to 5 years leaving the walls unprotected versus the remarkable hydrostatic pressure of a high water table, below ground streams or capillaries.

An unwanted of water around grounds could threaten them creating damaging settlement of the structure.

Concrete is made mostly of sand. Visualize just what will happen to a block of sand in a pool of water. The disintegration of concrete happens similarly, over time with the foundation gradually softening, after that deteriorating up until it paves the way, bringing water right into the basement or worse. This erosion can happen in block structures even faster because they are typically hollow to begin with.

This was the second visit by Vulcan – the service technicians were very professional and did an amazing job – reviewed the project with me and explained what they were going to do and why they needed to do it – then they started right in and did the work. I would highly recommend this crew to anyone looking to get a water issue resolved in their basement.

Great service, very knowledgable staff and hard working crew! Install went well: 160 linear feet of underdrain pipe and crushed stone with 2 sump pits (one pit with 1 pump and the other upper pit with 2 pumps). Pumps run fine when needed. We now have a dry finished basement with peace of mind. Thanks Vulcan, great job!

Our basement flooded several times and had water level of up to 4 feet in one corner of the house. Vulcan assessed the situation and added french drains and new sump pump. They were very professional and not too costly. We haven’t had any issues since, this was in early 2000s.
